Product Support Engineer

Salary - Upto £50k based on experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage Production support activities ensuring efficient processing of concessions/production permits/source changes and incorporation of corrective/preventative actions
• Provide Technical support to Production & Quality for MRB decisions – MRB signatory
• Perform Engineering Contract Review
• Manage obsolescence activities
• Analyse products to ensure integrity of design and performance specifications are met.
• Provide technical support both internally and externally at the Customers’ and Suppliers’ site.
• Establish project milestones, monitor and ensure deadlines are achieved, communicate status to relevant parties both internal and external.
• Communicate effectively with the following:
• Sales engineers/ account managers
• Customers
• Manufacturing/Quality/Purchasing/Planning teams
• Subcontractors

Tools/Equipment Used

• Inventor 3D Solid Modelling
• Office 365, MsProject
• TK Solver/ MathCA
• QPulse

Qualifications/Training Required

• Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years relevant mechanical engineering experience in a design/build manufacturing organisation
• Full driving licence
