Tom Liddell
Managing Director
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in April 2008.
Tom began his career in the Nuclear Industry, working for the private arm of the UK Atomic Energy Authority, designing equipment, and managing significant construction projects associated with decommissioning. Following that he worked as a consultant on intellectual property and then managed a small business developing next-generation portable power for the British Army.
Tom has led the Aerospace and Industrial divisions of Porvair for 12 years and has seen the development of the business from a small UK-based filtration company to the global organisation it is today. He has a Masters degree in mechanical engineering and a Diploma from Warwick Business School.
David Mellor
Finance Director
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in 2010.
David started out in the Pharmaceutical Industry working for Wyeth and worked his way from Trainee Accountant to Finance Director focusing predominantly on the manufacturing and distribution of both prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
Since joining Porvair in 2010, David has seen the company more than double in size. Leading the Finance, IT, HR and Trade Compliance functions across the group means he leads many of the integration projects with new acquisitions and with a manufacturing Finance background, his focus is on improving processes on and off the shop floor to ensure we remain competitive and that our people are supported to be the best they can be.
Ian Boxall
Engineering and Technical Director
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in October 1990.
Initially starting his career in the filtration industry, Ian gained wider engineering experience in the agricultural vehicle industry as a Senior Engineer with Ford New Holland, before returning to the filtration sector. Progressing within the business, he has built a comprehensive knowledge of research and development and manufacturing operations.
Ian has extensive senior-level knowledge, skills and experience in the design and manufacture of filtration and separation equipment, leading engineering and operational teams and delivering products to critical high-performance applications.

Jon Churchill
General Manager - Segensworth Division
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in January 2020.
Jon was previous VP Global Operations for Data Storage Systems Division of Seagate Technology LLC. Prior to that leading the WW Operations team for a Capital Equipment OEM with its roots in IBM, having grown within that organisation through 15 years in procurement engineering and supply chain management.
Jon brings significant expertise in leading agile and responsive supply chains serving Tech / Electronics sectors necessitating demand flexibility, high quality and high continuity of supply assurance.

Mike Hughes
General Manager - New Milton Division
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in February 2013.
A lifelong specialist in filtration, Mike was a consultant for 3 years before joining Porvair, specialising in risk management and M&A within the filtration sector. Previously he was Managing Director of PCI Membranes Ltd and International Business Development Director for ITT, now Xylem. A Commercial Director, Mike has worked extensively internationally, spending extended periods overseas, working in India, Eastern Europe and the USA.
Mike combines his mechanical engineering education, with financial and commercial and legal acumen. Having built successful businesses in the UK and overseas, including acquisition and disposal, Mike brings a diverse experience to Porvair's General Management Team.
Steve Potter
General Manager - Ashland Division
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in August 2019.
Steve spent 5 years as the Operations Manager for Honeywell International’s speciality materials business in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in the fibre optic component, building materials, and energy sectors.
Steve has spent his career in General and Operating Management roles focused on delivering superior customer service while improving operational efficiency. He holds a degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University (Alfred, NY), and an MBA from the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY).
Gabriel Knight
General Manager - Caribou Division
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in November 2020.
Gabe was previously the Engineering Manager for Contour360 a leading manufacturer of specialty engineered carbide cutting tools. Prior to that leading the Operations team for Applied Thermal Sciences. Conducting research and development work on free piston engines, high-speed propulsion systems and lightweight engineered structures.
Gabe brings substantial knowledge of precision manufacturing and project management, with a proven history of quality assurance to meet the ever-increasing demands of today’s supply chain.

General Manager - Boise Division
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in January 2011.
Paul was the Operations Manager at the Boise division and for TEM Filter Company. Prior to that, Paul was a manufacturing technician and area coordinator at INTEL.
Paul has a total of 20 years working in the semiconductor industry. 16 of those years were spent leading various groups working through Lean manufacturing training and ISO certification to optimize production efficiency and organization. Paul has been involved in the development of and has an extensive knowledge of many of the products currently sold out of our Boise Division.
Karishma Pimpale
General Manager - Mumbai Division
Joined Porvair Filtration Group in July 2020.
Karishma took the role as General Manager of Porvair’s India Division in 2020, having worked within the industry since 2007. Although this was during the COVID19 pandemic, Karishma had full confidence in the Company’s leadership and vision and has successfully put in place strategic plans to grow the business.
With a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Karishma has a total of 16 years work experience within the filtration, oil and gas and refining industries.

Jelle has a strong commercial background focusing on Industrial Services and Contracting within the Maritime and Aviation industries. He has largely held roles focusing on the company’s P&L, and specializes in organizational change and growth. Jelle has specific knowledge of contracts and legal having spent most of his career working internationally.
Jelle holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management.
