Porvair Filtration Group membrane disc diffusers are designed for use in both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications and can be supplied with either wastewater approved EPDM or silicone precision cut tear-resistant membranes.

Produced for use in activated sludge plants and SBR plants, these products can provide high oxygen transfer efficiency across a wide range of airflows. Its innovative design ensures an equal fine bubble distribution across the perforated area, and prevents the leakage of liquors into air lateral pipework in the event of blower failure.

The construction of our membrane disc diffusers enables simple installation and easy retrofit into existing systems, as well as the optional fitting of an additional non-return valve, on particular models, to prevent the ingress of water in the event of membrane rupture.
