Vyon® filters typically remove particles down to 5 microns in size, protecting pneumatic devices from damage caused by these contaminants including lubricant particles ejected by the compressor, dirt particles, small water droplets or aerosols, and even oil vapor and dust particles.
On pneumatic exhaust ports - Vyon® materials can be used to attenuate sound to safe levels whilst exhausting gases safely to the atmosphere. These silencers are easily installed by screwing directly into the exhaust port of the control valve and, because they are unaffected by water and oil, they require no maintenance.
